Happy 2nd Anniversary to Strive Dance Company!
A message from our Artistic Director, Meghan McGillicuddy :
“Two years of Strive. 🖤
Running this company has been a lifelong dream come true… The kind of dream I used to carry quietly and hope would one day find its way into reality. And now here we are, two years in, creating art, building community, and sharing live performance magic together.
To my dancers : My tribe… Thank you for becoming my chosen family. You are the heart of Strive in every possible way. Your trust, vulnerability, humor, passion, and commitment mean more to me than I can ever fully express. What we’ve built together goes so far beyond rehearsals and performances… It's a true community rooted in love and support, both on and off stage.
To my Strive band: thank you for bringing these shows to life with your talent and heart. Your music elevates every moment and makes the magic real.
To our incredible sponsors and every person who has supported Strive in its infancy: whether you’ve lent your time, talent, space, resources, encouragement, or belief. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You helped nurture something fragile and new, and because of you, it continues to grow.
And to our audience members: thank you for continuing to show up and experience live performance with us. There is a beautiful give-and-take between cast and audience that makes every show electric and alive. We truly could not do what we do without you. Your presence, your applause, and your energy all become part of the art.
Two years in, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for every single person who has been part of this journey. The magic of Strive exists because of all of you.
