Last night at Clear Vibes House Concerts, the Songwriter Round was another special, intimate experience with friends and neighbors.

Keith Beatty and Donn Smith both local to Indy, shared the living room stage with Morgan Mikenas from Valparaiso and Lucy Holden from Chicago. It was Morgan and Lucy’s first time doing a songwriter round, and they really enjoyed the experience of exchanging songs. Each artist brought something completely unique to the room, and it was a really special night of music for this little community.

Also, it was one long-time house concert guest's 68th birthday so we sang to him, and he blew out the candles on a carrot cake... that made the night extra special!

The meaningful connections that happen when people care enough to gather at a home to really listen and share music is why these house concerts continue. It truly is a labor of love to share music in this way and show some love to my community. We need this, and sharing these moments with others is so important.

Oh... and, of course, Dahlia dog made her rounds. She’s the true host of these concerts. It’s her house, and she makes sure everyone knows it by demanding pets (and even crawling into your lap if you let her)!

Less than one week till the next Clear Vibes House Concert! This one is a songwriter round and features Keith Beatty, Donn Smith, Morgan Mikenas, and Lucy Holden. They will be trading original songs and stories throughout the evening.

Hopefully Keith will play us some love songs. Donn is a regular at my house concerts, but this is his first time playing one! He's one of our local favorites from the east side of Indy. Morgan is from Valpo (near my hometown of LaPorte), and Lucy is coming down from Chicago. I love getting to bring artists from around the region together for these little community gatherings. It's a great way to connect.

And since it's a Wednesday evening, it's a great chance to catch some live music if weekends don't work for you!

Come hang out, hear some great original music, and help support these artists and the house concert series. These shows only happen because you show up. ❤️
