As a deeply spiritual being, I create imagery from parts of the self that are undiscovered. The spiritual aspects of life—the microcosm and macrocosm—present to us the good, bad, and mysterious of what it is to Be. What I create calls to light both the visible and invisible, to elucidate the soul’s image and interpret it through artistic means.

It has been a minute since I’ve done anything solidly traditional and I definitely missed the feeling of paint and ink all over my hands (and everything else lol)! I took my little art bag with me to our local crafting meet-up and started this piece without any real direction. The end result is something I’m really happy with and think is honestly an improvement from the last time I did anything like this.
