Today, we’re beginning a new chapter. We are thrilled to share that the Indianapolis Men’s Chorus has joined the Butler Arts Collaborative, establishing a new organizational and rehearsal home in Lilly Hall on Butler University’s campus.

Our new home at Butler gives us the space and infrastructure to support the organization’s current growth. Through the Butler Arts Collaborative, we’ll have new opportunities for relationships, shared resources, artistic collaboration, education, and community connection.

We are honored to join our fellow arts organizations (and new neighbors!) within the Butler Arts Collaborative: American Piano Awards, Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra (ICO), and Indianapolis Symphonic Choir. Go Dawgs! 💙

A familiar face officially joins the IMC Staff! 🎵

We are thrilled to continue working with longtime IMC Bassist Conner Green in his expanded role as Orchestrator for the chorus!

Our productions have developed an increasingly distinctive musical sound, and Connor is an important part of creating it. As IMC’s Orchestrator, he shapes how the music is realized by our instrumentalists, translating the musical material for the particular musicians and instrumentation of each production and helping create the color, energy, and theatrical scale audiences hear from the stage.

Conner is an Indianapolis-based bass player who is delighted to be joining the IMC staff as their orchestrator. Previously, he performed as a touring musician for over a decade. Although new to this role, he is no stranger to the IMC, having been part of the IMC band for many years. He is eager to continue supporting the IMC’s mission through the power of music and live performance.

Each year, we have the honor of performing The National Anthem to kick off the Indiana AIDS Walk along the canal. We hope to see many of you there next weekend as we support those in our community living with HIV.
