Director, B. Monét will join us to screen her film, Ballet After Dark. This incredible story follows a young woman who found the strength to survive after an attack. She created an organization that is helping sexual abuse and domestic violent survivors find healing after trauma through dance therapy.

During opening night we’ll have a Q&A with the filmmaker and there will be a special performance from iibada Dance Company!

It’s time to SAVE THE DATE for the IYFF!

We are so excited to announce that the IYFF will be taking place June 26th-28th! Not one day, not two, but three days this year! Stay tuned because official selections will be announced next week!

It’s time to throw it back to the 2024 IYFF! This year was all about growth. We saw film submissions, tickets purchased, and filmmaker attendance double from the previous year. We were able to see our community grow right before our eyes. Here’s to another great year at IYFF!

The Indy 500 is one of the biggest sporting events in the world and the IYFF gets to take a small group to the track and see behind the scenes!

The group from 2025 had a blast and got to see exactly how they film everything when it comes to the race! It’s a really cool experience we get to share with the youth in Indy!

While we are so excited for the 2026 IYFF let’s take a moment to throw it back to 2023 the very first IYFF!!

This film festival was created to support youth filmmakers and give them opportunities to share their art with a larger crowd. We will continue to uplift our youth filmmakers while building a supportive and inclusive community.
