I'm not going to glaze XBOX, because quite frankly I don't trust you.

But I will say, in a world where physical media wasn't on the chopping block, I would genuinely love this disc to digital feature. You really do get the best of both worlds; ownership of a tangible asset, and competitive pricing with the convenience of the license resting on your HD.

But this is most likely just another push in the wrong direction 😒

HAPPY 27th BIRTHDAY to Fire Emblem Thracia 776!!!

Most certainly the rarest Fire Emblem game to date (and most expensive item in my collection), dropping right at the end of the Super Famicom's life cycle, only selling around 150,000 copies during it's print run in Japan only.

It is also known for being the most brutally difficult title in the franchise 👀

PlayStation has little to no interest in growing their base, instead focusing on "monetizing the existing" customers.

That's just corpo speak for finding more ways to bleed Sony fans dry. And people are actually HAPPY about it 🤦‍♂️

Do you think even for a second they are talking about making better games, or more of them? No, not even a little bit. Subscriptions, micro transactions, fees, investing billions into trying to create more live service slop, all on top of a digital storefront monopoly.

And the fans are cheering with thunderous applause... I genuinely don't get it.
