We’ve been counting down to this since our group secured the winning bid at last year.

Walking into Amulet Estate, you don’t feel like a tourist; you feel like a guest at a private manor. It’s manicured and organized, yet wears its prestige with an understated "been-here-forever" grace.

The journey through the cave—walking past fermenting barrels before entering a candle-lit, sepia-toned tasting room—perfectly set the stage for Shawn Johnson’s work.

*The Winemaker: Shawn doesn't just rely on his pedigree; he leads with an engaging, effortless expertise. He’s "figured it out," blending a high-level "been-there-done-that" confidence with a casually elegant humility.

*The Pour: What struck us most was Shawn’s restraint. In a valley often leaning toward "designer cocktail" profiles and heavy toast, Amulet stays disciplined. These are low-intervention, leaner, and mouth-watering—true table wines that favor elegance over ego.
