A little Tuesday fun…

08/06/2026

This past weekend, members of the Salt City Orchestra Flute Section had the pleasure of providing music for the Women's Event at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Thank you for inviting us to be part of such a wonderful day! We truly enjoyed sharing music with your congregation.

A special shout-out goes to our very own Phyllis Hopper, whose beautiful flute trio arrangements were among our favorites to perform. We are incredibly fortunate to have such talented musicians and composers right here in our own orchestra!

Did you know that Salt City Orchestra has small ensembles available for community events? Whether you're planning a church service, wedding, reception, fundraiser, business event, holiday gathering, or another special occasion, we'd love to help make it even more memorable with live music.

If you'd like to have a Salt City Orchestra ensemble perform at your next event, send us a message. We'd love to visit with you!

Bringing live music to our community...one event at a time.

Thank you to the Hutchinson Community Foundation for its generous support of the Salt City Orchestra's Summer Concert Series! 🎶

Community partners like the Hutchinson Community Foundation make it possible to bring free live music to our community, creating opportunities for families, friends, and neighbors to gather and enjoy the arts together.

We are incredibly grateful for your investment in our mission and for helping make our inaugural summer concert season such a wonderful success. Thank you for believing in the power of music to strengthen our community!

While our summer performances have concluded, there's still one more opportunity to enjoy great live music as part of the Final Fridays Concert Series. Join the Hutchinson Municipal Band at DCI Park on Friday, July 31, at 7 pm, for another wonderful evening of music under the Kansas sky. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, invite a friend, and help celebrate another great summer of community music!

Thank you to everyone who has supported local music this summer! We can't wait to see what the future holds!

🇺🇸Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

If you're enjoying the Hutchinson Fourth of July Parade on Saturday, be sure to keep an eye out for the Salt City Orchestra!

A huge THANK YOU to K&K Sales for generously pulling our parade trailer and helping us be part of this wonderful community tradition. We truly appreciate your support!

As our trailer rolls by, don't just look for the bright green float, listen, too! Our Salt City Orchestra Brass Quintet will be performing patriotic favorites right from the parade, bringing live music to help celebrate America's birthday.

This is just one more way we're sharing music with our community, and we can't wait to see you along the parade route!

🎼 Watch for more Salt City Orchestra performances coming soon! We have exciting things planned, and we hope you'll join us as we continue making music together.

🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July from all of us at the Salt City Orchestra!

Another BIG Salt City Orchestra thank you goes out to our local Boy Scout Troop and the American Heritage Girls!

Our concerts were made even more meaningful because of your willingness to serve.

To our Boy Scout Troop #306, thank you for providing the beautiful presentation of the flags and serving as our Color Guard during The Star-Spangled Banner. Your professionalism and respect helped create a memorable opening to each concert.

To the American Heritage Girls, KS1112, thank you for warmly welcoming our audience and handing out concert programs with smiles. Your kindness and cheerful service helped make everyone feel at home from the moment they arrived.

These concerts were about so much more than music. They were about neighbors serving neighbors and building community together. Thank you for giving your time and being part of our very first summer concert season. We couldn't have done it without you!

Thank you for helping make the Salt City Orchestra's debut concerts such a special experience for our community!** 🎶
