DCRP Recap:
Started the night off with Auburn (Bray’s girlfriend) drawing the lowest pill (14)! Which had us starting 1st in the first heat race, ended up leading all the laps and winning the heat race!
Winning that put us in the redraw for the feature and had some more luck on our side and drew the number 1!
Starting first in the feature, we led all 20 laps and were able to pick up our first career win! Big strides have came in the last few races of this season and we can’t thank all of our partners that have helped along the way to get us to this point! Also a big shoutout to Craig Myers, Jeremy Huish, and everyone at Myers Engine Inc. for putting together a motor for us and for all the help this season!

Belleville 305 Nationals

Friday night recap:
Started off by going 4th quickest in qualifying group 4 which put us starting 3rd. Garrett Benson got by us and we finished 4th which locked us into the A main! Rolled off 19th for the A main and ended up 21st. The car could’ve been a little tighter and driver could’ve been little better in the slick and running the top but all in all, we were very happy with how the first night EVER at the High Banks went!

Saturday night recap:
Went 5th quickest in group 1 for qualifying. The car felt great and there wasn’t much we could’ve done to run a better lap other than maybe have a little more motor. Started 5th in the heat race, going into turn one I lost a bit of momentum to the guys running the top and didn’t get up quick enough and ended up 7th. That put us starting 13th in the B and that’s where we would finish.

All in all a great first time and experience at Belleville! We felt with how little we’ve been in a sprint car, we got comfortable pretty quickly there! Ready to be back September 11th to try again!
