Our principal cellist, Colin Stokes, gave an awesome multimedia performance at the Currents New Media Festival this summer. Check it out! We're proud to have him on faculty at TCC Northeast and playing with the TCO.

MUSIC AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: University of North Texas Regents Professor Marco Buongiorno Nardelli, student Colin Stokes along with Alice Grishchenko, collaborated on a live audio-visual performance at Santa Fe’s Currents New Media festival. The performance was ‘recent works for cello and electronics that span a variety of modalities and esthetics, from immersive explorations of forms to minimalistic ambiances, from lyric embraces to ethereal flights.’ https://tinyurl.com/UNTAIMusic2025

This article tells a touching story about some individuals that love the symphony coming together to form a group called "The Symphony Pals" and attend concerts together.

It all started when student Serena Causton attended a Toronto Symphony Orchestra performance at Roy Thomson Hall by herself.
