Just wanted to post that my family is hosting a memorial event in honor of my nephew, Jacob A. Perkins, on Sept. 25, 2021. This event is a can & bottle drive in Southington CT and Burlington CT. Although we know that not all will be able to donate cans and bottles, there is a link where a monetary donation can be sent. Thank you for all the support as our family remembers Jacob. We are forever grateful for the support and love these 2 years without him. We have created this community fund in honor of him to give back to the Southington K-9 Unit who helped bring him home to us.

On behalf of everyone at Winged Throne, A HUGE Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the LARP Sale we had at YOC on Nov. 17th! The LARP community is very important to us and we're so happy that all our props went to good use to individuals and LARP groups alike. We are heartened by the support, well wishes and friendships through the LARP community as we move into a new endeavor. Thank you!

Big LARP Sale on November 17th!!!
(starting sale at Evensong game over...approx. Noon)

Hi Friends,
During cleanup after our last game, we will have folks stationed around the barn selling just about everything we have. To those of you who have reached out in advance, fear not - we are holding those items you requested in reserve.
We will be accepting both cash and credit cards for purchases.
Here is the general pricing we will be going with, but all offers will be considered:
Boffers - $1.00 each (make an offer if you'd like to buy in bulk)
Costumes and Small props - Fill a bag for $20.00 (we will provide large black garbage bags for this purpose). Bring your own bag and fill it for $10.00!!
Large expensive props will generally go for $150.00 or will be priced individually based on value.
Full Tote of Stuff $40.00
Full Storage Unit of Stuff $1000.00
Again - all offers will be considered! Bring your trucks and vans. :)
Invite your LARPer friends and Staffers! All are welcome.

It's been requested that given we are approaching the end of the campaign, that players be allowed to share unused skill points with other players for the purposes of allowing newer players to do cool stuff that they wouldn't otherwise be capable of doing given that they joined the game late.

We are very much in favor of this. If you wish to make it happen, please contact John Behnken directly and he'll make the transfer.

However, we want to be clear of the following:
*This is only an exception due to the fact that we have only two events left and only if the points are for newer players or older players who have been absent for an extended period of time.
*We don't think that someone who has attended every event should have points transferred to them to create - for example - an unstoppable mana engine - or equally absurd power-gamer usage.
*For that reason, we will monitor point transfers very closely to be sure it's not being abused. To be honest, we don't really expect that from the community, but feel it had to be said just so we're clear.

As always - for those who did not know - Feats of Legend and Game Bucks can be transferred between players at will. Though certain Feats of Legend are still bound by prerequisites as written.

Throughout this year, all our available funds (and more) are going towards repairs of the tavern. So as you can see, we need a lot of people and materials! Please let us know what tools and supplies you might be able to bring.

* dumpster – any trash remaining (Necropolis, armory, graveyard, DH, barn)

Dear Friends,
Winged Throne Productions is dedicated to creating a safe environment for all of our attendees as they explore the worlds in which our games take place, therefore, as of October 2018, Winged Throne Productions has officially implemented an Anti-Sexual Harassment and Anti-Bullying policy along with an easy method to handle complaints to the standards set forth by the State of New York and the State of Massachusetts.

This policy will be made available to all attendees of Winged Throne events in the following places:

The Winged Throne Website
Websites for all games run or sponsored by Winged Throne Productions
A high level version of the policy will be posted in a prominent place at all Winged Throne events they are meant as a high level overview and reminder, and not a replacement for the full policy.
A ‘read and understand’ waiver addendum which must be signed by each attendee
Winged Throne Productions prohibits harassment and bullying of all individuals and groups.

Harassment and bullying includes, but is not limited to the following:

inappropriate physical contact or assault; unwanted s*xual advances or propositions; or retaliation for reporting harassment and/or bullying.
offensive or lewd verbal comments about a person, a person’s s*xuality or s*xual experience;
Sexual; or discriminatory displays or publications anywhere at the event;
Hostile actions taken against an individual because of that individual’s s*x, s*xual orientation, gender identity and/or the status of being transgender;
Participants engaging in this behavior are subject to appropriate sanctions up to and including disinvitation to any and all Winged Throne Events. If you are subjected to harassment, bullying or retaliation, or if you become aware of anyone being harassed or bullied, contact a representative of Winged Throne Productions in person or via email: [email protected]
