Why Not? The more we dig into the world of RC flying the more we get impressed. We haven't really been big fans for long but seeing what we find on a consistent basis gets us really excited. From their sizes (some of are massive) to the mini radials they use which sound great, this world is pretty

It might be buried deep in the local landfill, but I don't think so. I believe it's somewhere at the bottom of a box, or a bin in the basement, or maybe in the far corner of a drawer under something else. It's a faintly radioactive, piece of stone like material, about the size of a quarter. It is the most important historical artifact I will ever possess.
It's Trinitite, a piece of the sand fused into glass by the first atomic explosion in New Mexico. I visited the blast site, and even the house where "the gadget" as they called it was assembled. I was with three other people on a crisp blue sky day, One of our group the man who composed the writing on the historic markers. I've never been anywhere else where I felt the weight of history so much. I have read about the project, and the fact that even the people putting it together weren't sure what would happen. Some thought the atmosphere would ignite. I've read "Hiroshima" by John Hersey, and have an idea of the terrible toll the the first blast in anger had on people, and their city. I've also read about the horrible carnage in the battle for Iwo Jima. I understand the decision to use the bomb was complicated, and a lot more nuanced then, that what we might think now. I like the fact that anyone can learn about this, think about it, and try to understand.
All this as I considered another offering from the "gift that keeps on giving" ...the legislature of Texas. Their state senate has approved a bill, that would among other things, "not" require the Klan be taught as bad, or pretty much anything about Women's suffrage, or...you know...all that other uncomfortable stuff where we might have to do some thinkin'. (here I need to stop and assure those of you who've stuck with me, that I understand I keep hitting this same nail. I can't help it...and anyway...Texas?...)
I will never understand the aggressive drive to be ignorant.
I suppose that in the case of Texas, the folks writing this kind of legislation figure by the time the history books start included their lack of foresight and action on the state's power grid...they'll be dead. For those not keeping up with current events...in Texas, if it's too hot, or too cold...forget about putting that thermostat in the comfort zone...the grid can't handle it.
All I know is, small minds apparently never rest.
They're like little kids who's drive to mischief is so much greater than a parent's ability to watch them.
All I can say is...I'm tired of it.
I wonder how they feel in Texas?
