Just the beginning. This is a tank from Charlie company 89th regiment. It was part of the 25th infantry division. It was the longest serving tank battalion in Korea. The first tanks to Korea, made up of parts from Sherman's all over the Pacific. It's company commander, Captain Rice, had the front hull painted red with a face. North Korean and Chinese soldiers were very superstitious, so it's more a psychological thing. The name all the crew used was Rices Red Devils. My model represents combat operations in Korea in March 1951.
