Responsibilities
• Answer, triage and direct phone calls.
• Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms
• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and projects
• Supply office manager with a list of needed office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
• Book travel arrangements
• Provide general support to visiting members and potential rentals

Requirements
• Proven experience as an administrative assistant, or office admin assistant
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Community Service Opportunity: We will be back at the HQ to finish up the border for the memorial brick patio this Saturday (June 23). The heavy lifting is done with the big tractor, but we need help for the placement. The site is also ready for finish grading around the outside. This will be done with rakes & shovels. It is not heavy work. I'll be bringing the grass seed and straw. Come join the fun and let's get this awesome project finished! We start at 9 AM Central and usually work until about 3 pm. Bring gloves, sturdy boots and a lunch.

The Festival’s goal is to promote interest in and enjoyment of the Ukulele in and around the Tennessee Valley and to advance and share "Ukulele Love” and the “Hawaiian Spirit of Aloha.” The program will feature beginner sessions and classes on various aspects of ukulele care and playing. Those not participating in the classes will be able to gather in small groups to share music and expertise. Open-mic sessions will be available and performances will be held on the NSS stage. The festival will also offer opportunities for club performances and group participation in strum-alongs. Other ukulele and Hawaii-related activities and performances may be included as available.
