Last day of AP Canada Goose season here in Maryland 2/3/2018. Bitter sweet day but certainly one for the books! Wait till you see the footage from this hunt! It’s been another amazing year. But we still have a few more weeks of goose hunting in the RP zone before we hang our gear up for the season.

Another 22 on the year, warmer weather had us a little nervous but the scouting report on this field didn't disappoint.

Started off yesterday in the duck hole where we ended up with 21 mallards and a black duck (some ducks not pictured as they were taken for mounts). Then quickly switched gears and headed to the goose field where we've had 500-600 geese coming every evening. With just barely enough time for a little pizza party in the blind we finished up a 10 man goose limit by 4:15. Definitely made for a fun day!

It's not very often we strictly duck hunt, but we hit the duck hole yesterday afternoon and came out with a good handful of mallards. Great time for sure!

Banded Brotherhoods “poster boy” BLAZE, turned 8 years old today and hasn’t missed a beat! He’s just as energetic and passionate for retrieving as he was when he was a pup. With thousands of retrieves under his belt he has certainly become what we consider a veteran amongst hunting dogs. Looking forward to a few more years of hunting together buddy!

Cold and windy one here today but the geese were hungry!
Set up on a 1,500 bird feed in the snow with 18 shooters. 36 geese down by 10am. Most people in Maryland are complaining about these cold temperatures but we love it!

Great way to welcome in 2018!
32 geese and 3 black ducks in a wheat field. Couldn't keep them out of the field today if we wanted to.

Absolutely amazing day in Maryland, 28 geese 2 pintails, 2 widgeon and 3 mallards all in a cut corn field.
The birds were flying spaced out all day today so it was a long grind but it was all worth it in the end. We finished up with geese around 2 and pulled the goose rig and set up 2 mojos and a handful of full body mallards and let the ducks do there thing!
Days like this is what makes you get up early on the weekends and all those endless hours of scouting worth it
