The King's Brass

The King's Brass Welcome to the official page of The King’s Brass! http://www.kingsbrass.org

"In a day of musical mediocrity from well-meaning but poorly trained musicians, The King's Brass is a wonderful and greatly needed exception. Here is a fine group of dedicated folks who take their music (but not themselves!) seriously. Their performance is a delightful blend of tasteful variety, lighthearted fun, and musical excellence."--Chuck Swindoll, Author, Senior Pastor, Stonebriar Community

Had an incredible time catching the Clay Cooper Country Express show!

It was an absolute highlight getting to catch up with former King’s Brass trumpet player, Ray Harris. Exceptional music, Branson definitely didn’t disappoint! 🎺🎤

Huge thank you to for having us out and for the fantastic hospitality. It’s always special when the brass family gets to reconnect on the road!

Behind the powerful sound and praise of The King's Brass is a team of musicians dedicated to combining their faith and their art. For our 48th season tour, we wanted introduce everyone and share a behind-the-scenes look at what drives our mission. We asked the guys: What does "ministry through music" mean to you personally? Here is what they had to say:
👉 Tim Zimmerman (Trumpet & Director): "Opportunity to combine my faith and my art. Opportunity to serve others."
👉 Isai Hernandez (Trumpet): "To honor God with my musical abilities to bring people closer to him and to ultimately feel his presence."
👉 James Beverly (Trumpet): "An opportunity to glorify God with our praise and worship to Him."
👉 Eric Barnes (Trombone): "Using music as a vessel to point toward Christ, whether through listening, playing, or corporately worshipping."
👉 Kolbe Schnoebelen (Trombone): "Spreading the joy of music with others by sharing the Gospel. We all play for the greater honor and glory of God."
👉 Kyle Davidson (Bass Trombone): "Music can express the Glory and Majesty of God in a way that words fail to capture."
👉 John Choi (Tuba): "Worshiping the lord with my instrument I feel is on of the best ways that I can serve, and I love every second of it"
👉 Jacob Ammons (Percussion): "What we do through our music is to lead others in worship to God. We are vessels used to bring glory to God."
👉 Tony (Trumpet/Piano): "Using music as a vehicle for worship is an ancient tradition and it can have a tremendous impact on the emphasis of the message."

Thanks for having us there, always a blessing to play in Shawnee where the weather is always perfect!

Thanks to .bevs for a post-concert treat after a concert at his home church! 🎺🍦

The only way to follow up a set like that is a quick stop at Rita’s for some well-deserved custard.

Hard work sounds better with a side of sprinkles. 😉
