Additional Description:
This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible underwent a multi-year refurbishment completed in 2010 and is finished in Blue over a matching Blue and White interior with a power-operated White convertible top. The build combines iconic Tri-Five styling with a big-block V8 and several upgrades aimed at improving everyday drivability.
Power comes from a 396 CI V8 sourced from a 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle and fitted with a Holley carburetor. The engine is paired with a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission and a rear end with 3.08:1 gearing. Four-wheel disc brakes and 17-inch American Racing wheels further update the driving experience, while the dual exhaust exits behind the rear wheels.
Recent mechanical attention since 2024 has included rebuilding the carburetor, installing a high-torque starter and electric cooling fan, replacing ignition components, fuel sending unit and valve cover gaskets, and replacing the brake master cylinder and power brake booster. Inside, the Blue and White cabin retains its classic bench-seat layout while adding lap belts and a retro-look Bluetooth stereo for added convenience.
