I'm wrapping up edited from the Creek Maternity Session & building my prop inventory. I got the wild idea of also building a wardrobe.

What do you think? Does a photography wardrobe help you as a client/subject and friend? Would it be easier to build your vision if I had Maternity dresses, hats, vest, suspenders, parasols, etc.

‼️ PSA: Oak Grove Youth Football & Cheer Families ❤️🖤

There’s something really special about Oak Grove, and I think anyone who has been around this program can feel it. It’s the kind of place where you don’t just watch your kid play a sport. You become part of a community. You cheer for kids who aren’t your own, celebrate each other’s wins, watch friendships grow, and somehow, without even realizing it, collect a whole lot of memories along the way.

And that’s exactly why I’m so excited to be behind the camera for park photos this season.

I completely understand if you’re hesitant to sign up for park photos this season.

The last couple of years, you invested your money in something that was supposed to give you priceless memories, and unfortunately, the excitement of getting those photos back didn’t always match what you had hoped for. And honestly, I hate that.

Because I was one of those parents.

My son played last year, and I know firsthand what it feels like to spend the money, wait for the photos, and walk away disappointed. So when I was given the opportunity to take over park photos this season, I knew I couldn’t just show up and take pictures.

I wanted to make it right.

This is my opportunity to earn back your trust and, hopefully, redeem park photos for the families of Oak Grove. I’m taking this seriously. I’m going to aim high, put my heart into it, and give these kids and families the kind of portraits they’ll actually be excited to have.

Because Oak Grove has a HUGE heart.

It’s more than football. It’s more than cheer. It’s the families standing on the sidelines, the friends they make, the coaches who pour into them, the muddy cleats, the pom poms, the late practices, the wins, the losses, the chaos and all the little moments that somehow become the big memories later.

One day those cleats won’t fit anymore. Those uniforms will be packed away. Those pom poms will be replaced by something new.

But these pictures stay.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be the one behind the camera this year, and I genuinely hope that when you get your photos back, you don’t just *like* them.

I hope you’re excited to have them.

And I hope I can help make you excited about park photos again. ❤️🖤
