Hello! I’m Esther— I’m so glad you’re following along! I am mother to three lovely daughters and wife to my dearest friend; we live in Michigan, just a few miles from the Big Lake. I started watercoloring custom pieces for nurseries, children’s rooms, and pet portraits a few years ago. I absolutely love creating something unique for you— making artwork for your home that is meaningful and hand-painted brings me so much joy! When I was young, I drew or painted every day; as an adult, I struggled with perfectionism and it eventually smothered that spark. Once I left my role as a kindergarten teacher to be home with my little ones, I found that joy again as I watercolored with my eldest daughter. Don’t wait to revisit whatever it was that made you happy when you were young— silence that mean critical voice in your head and be gentle to yourself once again. 💙💙💙
