Actors in the USA 🇺🇸who want to be considered for the roles of Romeo or Juliet should stay tuned because we do give actors a reimbursement amount for expenses and that could help cover some of your flight. So if you’ve thought about going to Lisbon perhaps this is something worth auditioning for. You would only need to be there approximately one week, otherwise we rehearse on Zoom.

We decided that “ROMEO and JULIET” would be our Winter production in 2027 months ago and didn’t know about this wonderful Global production. But you can’t have too much Shakespeare or too much of this most glorious play. So yes, we will do “ROMEO and JULIET” in Lisbon (also at different venues in the Lisbon area not just one location 😊) in late winter of 2027. Please standby for dates.

We will also be doing a massive CASTING SEARCH for new young and diverse talent to portray the roles of Romeo and Juliet, and add them to our beloved diverse and inclusive ensemble of players.

Hudson Hall (it will always be the Hudson Opera House to me 😊) Gala was a joyful celebration of its history last night as it honored Elena Mosley of Operation Unite Education and Cultural Arts Center and Second Ward Foundation.
And personally I found a new favorite singer the beautiful Vuyo Sotashe

This brings back fond memories of a very very old production at the Marcus Garvey Library of A MINI- Midsummer Night’s Dream when we had the Harlem Children’s Theatre and before moving up to the Hudson Valley.
