Beautiful handmade platter from our potter Amy. Speckled clay with a clear glaze over top. Hand glazed flower adds to the subtle beauty of this piece. Nice work Amy!

Thanks to all of our patrons that came out on a rainy weekend during the Cracked Pot Studio Tour to buy art, watch demo's and tour our studio! We appreciate your support of local artists! After a nice summer break our fall 8 week classes are beginning today! Looking forward to spreading the joy of pottery to some new future artists!

Have a look at these two beautiful pieces from out talented potters. The bowl on the left is from Laura D. She went with a very subtle glaze scheme giving the piece a country feel. The soap bottle is from our potter Susan G. who often uses lots of color in her glaze schemes. Both are glazing maestros!

Oak Grove Pottery was asked to teach a small workshop on how to build bird baths. We were happy to comply! These beauties were totally hand made by three beginner potters! Have something in mind you always wanted to try creating? Give us a call and we can help with that! 517-206-1587

More stunning work from our talented potter Laura. These beautiful dishes have subtle hues of pink, berry and white and they are even more stunning to see in person. These were glazed with Spectrum Shallot and Honey Flux. Beautiful work Laura!

Another beautiful state of Michigan platter from our talented potter Lauren. This piece was glazed with Ancient Copper around the outside rim, and Obsidian and Seaweed in the middle. There is a thin band of Oatmeal and Ancient Jasper just inside the Ancient Copper. A gorgeous work of art Lauren!
