Guest pianist and composer Madeline Styskal presented a wonderful program of new works at the UH Honors College last night entitled "Voices in Transit." Madeline commissioned all of the works on the program, asking the composers to base their compositions on emigration stories. Featured on the recital were works by current UH students Jackson Bosenbark, Caden Flores, Caleb Hernandez, and Adrian Sisso, and UH alum Mark Buller, Victor Rangel, Kyle Rivera and Madeline Styskal. Madeline is a graduate of the Honors College and the Moores School of Music, and is currently completing a doctorate in musicology at UT-Austin.
