Theatre Southwest's annual Festival of Originals announced this year's winning writers. Congratulations Steve Carpentier, Brit Garcia, Teri Girth, Justin Holloway, & Chepe Lockett! Auditions for roles in the winning 5 plays will be June 7-8 at 7PM (https://tswhouston.com/auditions).

Registration is now open for The Alliance Auditions! Non-equity actors can sign up at https://forms.gle/nrkk3PpBFGdsf7hTA . AEA actors should contact [email protected] for the AEA-specific registration link ($5 fee waived).

The Houston Theatre Alliance will host general auditions for adult actors on June 6-7, 2026.

Auditions are by appointment only, and representatives from all participating theater companies will be in attendance - you will be seen by all at the same time.

• You will receive your audition timeslot via email on Sunday, May 31. Please confirm your appointment within 48 hours to secure your spot.
• Auditions are by appointment only and are a combined audition for all participating theater companies. You’ll be considered by all at once; each company will then conduct individual callbacks for their specific productions.
