🔥We’re officially eyeball-deep in Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo BBQ Cookoff planning and we want to share a quick update with y’all!
From the very beginning, we’ve been calling this our best year yet! And even with everything unfolding behind the scenes, that commitment has only gotten stronger. As we lock in our final brand collabs, collect remaining sponsorship commitments from our incredible corporate partners and finalize our kick-ass team, the excitement continues to build!
❤️🔥Thursday Evening will be SPECIAL❤️🔥
On Thursday night, we’ll hold a ceremony honoring Larry Martin, who started this tent in 1989 and later passed it down to his daughter and son-in-law. They have run it with heart, dedication, and pride for many years, and after joining them, we are truly honored to carry this legacy forward. While the road this year has been a bit rockier with the shop happenings, being here means more to us than we can fully express.

We’re thrilled to have Gabe Montoya and Rick Horner assembling a group that will keep us rocking well into the night. If you caught them during our in-house music series, you already know they are going to bring the house down! In between their awesome sets, TURTLE BOX & surround sound will keep everyone on the dance floor!
🍸 Bar Program
We’re bringing in a near-and-dear friend, Megan the Master Mixologist, who has run our bar for countless catering events over the years in addition to large format events, to run the show from A-Z. She’s flying in from Chicago to lead the bar team. She will have signature cocktails, a crew to take care of you like ROCKSTARS… and so you had better plan for your designated drivers now!
🔥And yes, there WILL BE some surprises still to come onsite since someone (🙋🏼♀️) is super-DUPER far behind in the planning process (for obvious reasons) but is getting it done… and please note: Andrew Mulder is not HOLDING MY HAND any longer. And thank you to Andrew for being our forever ride or die, rarer and rarer to come by these days. ❤️🔥
