D and B Designs was started by sisters Donna and Brenda (D&B) when a few years ago our mother found a box of her mother's handmade lace and tatting. The lace at that time was already over 50 years old. We wanted to make something special with it for family members. Donna had seen some wooden letters that had been embellished with buttons and beads. She thought we could put some of the lace and ot

her items on wooden letters and crosses. Our Mom and other sister had some mix and match china cups and saucers, and jewelry pieces. So we took pieces of the china, lace, jewelry and other embellishments and put them on painted wooden letters and crosses. Due to the fact we were using our Grandmother's lace we called the crosses memory crosses and we include a small cross on all of our wooden items in honor of our Grandfather who was a Baptist minister. Because we were using tea cups and saucers on our items and we all love a good cup of tea we started making handmade greeting cards which come with an individual tea bag and a cute tea saying which we call Tea Cards. Every year we add a new item to our line. Now along with our wooden memory crosses and letters, we have hearts, angels, teapots and cup and saucer. We also create decorated bottles and up-cycle cigar boxes. Along with the tea cards we have magnets and magnet cards. Our latest addition is service memory boxes for armed forces, firemen and policemen. These are great boxes for servicemen and woman and their families to store their love ones mementos in. We started selling our crafts in an Antique and Vintage shop so now we also have some vintage glassware and some other unique vintage items for sale.

It has been a busy year for D and B Designs we have a booth at 2 local antique shops. We still have our handcrafted upcycled items, including our wooden crafts, repurposed cigar boxes and of course our tea cards. We also sell vintage items such as glassware and decor. Recently we added Tea in Texas, loose leaf tea to our products. So be sure and stop by our booth at Vintage Gifts and Antiques and Mimi's Vintage and Decor both on Jones Road.
