After a 15+ year break in consistent artistic endeavors, creativity began to flow again. Having been drawn to polymer clay for a while, I purchased several colors from one of the local craft stores. In 2012, as I was sitting at my art table making beads and contemplating a name for a new business, I heard the Holy Spirit say to me, “You were created Like No Other just as I AM Like No Other.” As I

formed each bead in my hands He reminded me that I was formed the same way (Psalm 139). My desire is for you to know this is the truth about you as well. The Creator God and Father designed you and loves you "Like No Other." The product line of Like No Other includes acrylic/mixed media painting, hand-built ceramics, watercolor and mixed media greeting cards, and anything else my artistic heart desires. I hold a BA in Advertising Design with a minor in Painting from University of Louisiana – Monroe, LA (1969).

At the core of this mystery lies a deep-seated motivation, a passion that compels us to put our thoughts, emotions, and visions onto paper, canvas, or clay. It is an urge to externalize our inner world, to give shape and form to our ideas and feelings. This process is not merely about replication but about transformation, as each creation carries a piece of the creator's essence, imbued with their perspective and experiences.

We will take found objects, create textures, gelli print paper for collage, and any other thing your creativity will bring to produce your finished work.
We will use stencils, stamps, texture paste combining other mediums like chalk pastels, oil pastels, PlayDoh. acrylics inks, cardboard, etc. to express your vision. We will discuss what color combinations are best, design and composition, and more.
Classes are $15 per class and most of the supplies will be covered. You may need to purchase some things for your personal preference.
