Ran into a friend of mine serendipitously yesterday, we had a conversation about music & what’s been going on in life since it had been a couple years since the last time we had seen each other in person…
Life has been life-ing. Lost 2 family members this year. It’s been hell. Simultaneously, it’s been a hell of a wake up call to go harder, be smarter, be kinder, to stand on business, to have strong boundaries, to be more generous, forgiving, & understanding, to create the life of my dreams and to believe in them and my ability to make it happen regardless what the results look like in the 3D, to trust God, to turn to God and talk to Him about everything, to get up and dust off the dirt and go ahead no matter how many times I’ve fallen, made a fool of myself, to get up and try again, to love harder and to face the risk of rejection, to grow and be a part of the community and to grow communities of people, and to really devote myself to the things I love and cherish and to not only speak about it, but to be about it.
Death is transformation. & we will die many times while we’re living…there’s a part of us that will go when our loved ones go, but we can keep them alive with honoring their spirit and practicing the things we loved about them in our daily interactions. I started my rebrand last October not knowing the depth of character development and rebranding I would really be going through this year… I just pray I can make yall, myself, & God proud & continue to progress even more and ever more after that. (Also, sometimes I’m pretty convinced we reincarnate cause that’s my great great grandmother who i look almost identical to)
