A glue applicator syringe has entered the art supply lineup.

I tried adding alcohol ink and white sinker to resin with it, and these little hearts have some seriously cool depth! 💚

First experiment down, several more ideas brewing. What do you think should I keep going?

Second month in a row this sweet guy has stopped by to see me and my art!

Getting to see familiar faces come back is such a lovely part of these gallery nights. And, you have to agree that hat deserves its own spotlight.

These little fish started as blobs of texture, but a few fins and tiny details gave them personalities!

I love that mix of chunky texture and smooth turquoise against the dark background. What do you think of this fishy little crew?

This 24 × 30 painting needed protection while drying, so the mixing cups got promoted to structural engineers.

Two nets, some creative propping, and my artwork now has its own screened-in porch. Please respect its privacy during this difficult drying time.

Go big or go home… so I stayed home and painted BIG!

This 24 × 30 is my largest swipe yet! Susan suggested a much lighter brown, so I gave it a try. I’m liking this sandy backdrop with those ocean blues. What do you guys think, does the lighter brown work?

I already have ideas on how to embellish this with a bit of texture. ❤️❤️❤️

SOLD!! TWO pieces!!

Happy artist dance happening over here! A couple from Florida chose these two, and they’re coming back to the gallery tonight to meet me!

Getting to meet the people who connect with my art makes this even sweeter. I’m so excited, and so grateful! ❤️❤️❤️

A little studio update: my doctor found possible lung damage, and I’ve never smoked. I’m concerned resin could be involved, though the cause isn’t confirmed. Resin will be a much smaller part of my art from now on.

A little studio update: my doctor found concerning possible lung damage, and I’ve never smoked. It was a shock and I’m still processing. I’m concerned resin could be involved, though the cause isn’t confirmed. As as result, resin will be a much smaller part of my art from now on. 💔

Yesterday’s experiments brought some beautiful blues and greens. These are just the backs…reveal this afternoon!
