Finding the right space for
“The Lost Sheep” ONE KID SHOW was fun and exciting!
We wanted a black box theatre-style space that would create an intimate, creative environment where our young actor Harmony, could connect with the audience and bring her story to life….
and we finally found the perfect one! 🌟

We are so excited to finally share what we’ve been working on! Our ONE - KID showcase,
“The Lost Sheep”, is almost here, and we can’t wait for you and your family to experience it. This has been such a special journey, and we would love for you to come celebrate Actor Harmony’s hard work and enjoy an evening filled with faith, creativity, and meaningful lessons.

🌟 Inspired by Luke 15:4–7, this special one-kid showcase reminds us that every person matters to God and that no one is ever too lost to be found. “The Lost Sheep” is a fun, family-friendly theatrical experience that kids will love and the whole family can enjoy together. ⭐️ Character ideas are coming to life one creative step at a time!

Director Rachel and student Harmony had an amazing time designing a two-dimensional costume for Harmony’s showcase character. From sketching creative ideas to carefully building each detail, Harmony is learning how costume design helps tell a story and bring a character to life on stage.

At The Parables Studios, we believe that rules help keep students safe and ensure a safe work environment where students can thrive. By learning and following classroom safety procedures, Harmony is developing not only her creativity but also the responsibility and confidence needed to work safely while bringing her costume design to life.

Storytelling with Purpose

🌟🎬 Teaching and learning theatre with my student, Harmony, has been such an awesome experience!

Right now, Harmony is working with Director Rachel to build a strong foundation in theatre. She’s learning the meaning of acting, what it means to be an actor, and the importance of theatre etiquette both on stage and backstage. We’re practicing how to behave respectfully in theatre spaces, safely handle props and set pieces, and confidently follow backstage procedures so she knows exactly what to do before, during, and after a performance.

Watching Harmony grow in confidence, responsibility, and her love for theatre has been so rewarding. Every lesson is helping her become not only a stronger performer but also a respectful and prepared young actor. I can’t wait to see her continue to grow!

MOVE OUT DAY!!!!
The Parables Studios LLC was finally able to get everything out of the old storage unit and head over to the new storage unit to start unpacking and an organizing!

⭐️ Summer camp has been an absolute blast

I’ve had so much fun working one-on-one with Harmony as we dive into the world of theatre together. From fun tongue twisters and voice warm-ups to character analysis and character walks, we’ve been discovering who her character is, what she wants, what challenges she faces, and how to bring her to life on stage.

One of my favorite parts has been watching Harmony use her voice, movement, posture, and facial expressions to step into her character’s world. Seeing her confidence, creativity, focus, and performance skills grow each week has been amazing!

I’m so proud of all her hard work and can’t wait to see her shine on stage! 🌟🎭

Summer Camp Warm Up

The Parables Studios Director, Rachel, has been working with young actor Harmony as she learns how to stand confidently on stage and follow stage directions. 🌟

One of our favorite activities has been Simon Says a fun and engaging way to build focus, listening skills, and the ability to follow instructions while having fun!

Every session has been filled with learning, laughter, and growth as Harmony continues to develop her confidence and stage presence. 💛🎬
