A living archive of Third Ward.

Now on view, Eye on 3rd Ward: A Retrospective, brings together decades of photography by Jack Yates High School students since 1995. These images are reflections on what it means to come of age in Third Ward.

Presented as part of FotoFest’s Biennial 2026: Global Visions – FotoFest at 40, this retrospective places our neighborhood’s stories within a global dialogue.

This outdoor exhibition transforms familiar space into a powerful visual journey. One that honors the past, speaks to the present, and inspires the future.
