Houston Chamber Choir Founded in 1995 by Robert Simpson and now led by Betsy Cook Weber, the Houston Chamber Choir has become one of the nation’s premier professional choirs.

They won the Grammy® for Best Choral Performance for its recording of Duruflé’s complete choral works. Houston Chamber Choir is a professional ensemble dedicated to increasing the awareness, appreciation and esteem of choral music and musicians through performance, outreach and education.

Audiences are used to hearing the members of Houston Chamber Choir as artistic contributors, blending into to the choir’s collective sound, but these singers can BRING 👏 IT 👏 as individual and small group performers!

Join us for a fun, pop variety show featuring the HCC singers performing pop music and show tunes as soloists and in small groups in a perfectly positioned post-The Sacred Veil vibe shift!

*Both shows will have very limited seating. The 8:00 show will be followed by a “Reception-ish”.

Audition to sing for the Grammy-winning Houston Chamber Choir!
We will be holding live auditions by invitation the week of May 4-8, 2026.

To apply for a live audition appointment, please complete and submit the application below by Monday, April 20, 2026, at 5:00 pm. Results and invitations will be sent by Wednesday, April 22.
Please only submit an application if you have not applied in the 2026 calendar year. If you applied in 2025 or earlier, but did not sing with the Houston Chamber Choir in the 25-26 season, you will need to submit a new audition application.
