HERE WE GO!

Yesterday was the first day back and honestly it just felt SO good.

The studio was full, the energy was back, and it was a reminder that what makes this place home isn’t the building… it’s the people that fill it ❤️

Seeing everyone walk back through those doors for a new school year, there’s really nothing like it!

Last night we had our big/little reveal for our company members!

Choreography week starts this weekend and we got some big news!

Miss Lexi got engaged this summer! 💍 And just like we have our beloved Mr. Amy around, we will soon have a Mr. Lexi joining the fam too!

If you see her this upcoming week, give her all the love! Congratulations Miss Lexi, we are so happy for you!

Say hello to Kevin, our new hip hop instructor for the school year!

Kevin trained under industry leaders like Debbie Allen, Desmond Richardson, and Dave Scott, and has choreographed for NBC, CW, Disney, and BET. We are so excited to have his energy and expertise in our studio this year. Come dance with him and see why we’re thrilled to welcome him to the ABAD family!

Our studio family just got a little bigger 🤍

Just over a month ago during recital season, Ms. Berries welcomed her daughter, Amani Blyss, into the world! 🎀

We have been so blessed to have her teach with us this past year and we will miss seeing her every week as she steps into this beautiful new chapter.

But do not worry, she is not going too far! Ms. Berries will still be around from time to time and is setting choreography on our company students this fall.

Congratulations Berries! We love you all so much!

Registration is officially open at Amy Blake’s Academy of Dance! Classes kick off August 10th and our spots tend to fill up fast, so now’s the time.
