Buddy is a 2026 American comedy slasher film directed by Casper Kelly, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jamie King.
Starring Cristin Milioti, Topher Grace, Keegan-Michael Key, Michael Shannon, Patton Oswalt, and Delaney Quinn, the film follows a group of children trapped inside the colorful world of the 1990s-style TV show It's Buddy!. When one child refuses to play along, cracks begin to form in the seemingly perfect fantasy, revealing Buddy the show's giant, bright-orange unicorn host—as a terrifying and murderous force. As the cheerful children's program descends into a surreal nightmare, the kids must find a way to escape before Buddy's twisted version of happiness becomes deadly.
