I stopped teaching classes at my home studio in May 2022 after 7 years. My goal was to teach workshops online and in my Houston Studio at Winter Street Studios. However, there was a fire December 20, 2022 and I lost my entire winter street studio. I will be returning but it will be possibly a year before it is rebuilt. This is the last week of my Kids Summer Art Classes. Only 3 classes remain. Tomorrow’s class sold out! Everyone has to love a baby elephant!
As I was setting up the studio tonight I felt happy knowing how much art has been created in my humble home studio. Once a place where I began creating it has turned into a creative haven for kids and adults. That’s pretty special. I forget that sometimes but just before I closed the door after another set up I felt it.
