Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist Nexus Regionals Pre-Registration is here! Saturday, August 19th Game Guys will be hosting the next season of YGO Regional Qualifiers and you are all invited! Read below for more info and click the link to pre-register and pre-pay for the event.

What's New!:

Pre-Registered Priority:
Since the last regional we fixed the overall wait time in line for registration to only 1 hour, it is time to improve Pre-Registration!

Plan - Starting at 7:30 AM, we will start to pull ALL Pre-Registered players out of the general line and into their own dedicated line. Starting at 8 AM we will use the first 15 minutes of registration to check in all Pre-Registered Players ONLY and get them inside the venue as a priority. With 6 registration stations in total, this will:
1. Guarantee your spot out of 620 Cap
2. Get you inside the venue first.

Pre-Registered Players ONLY Raffles!
We made a change in how to utilize the extra prizing Game Guys gives to the players. NOW for every 200 players (620 cap) that fully pre-register and pay between July 24th and August 11th, Game Guys will be adding a case (up to 3 cases) of Duelist Nexus to raffle (individual boxes)! ALL players that successfully pre-register will be added to the raffle to win 1 of of up to 36 boxes, so make sure to pre-register for a chance to win FREE boxes!

***Only players that pre-register completely with their complete registration form and their payment submitted for entry will be eligible to enter the raffle to win DUNE boxes.

Arcade:
FREE-to-use arcade area during regionals for gusts and players to use!

Food:
We will have food vendors outside Entrance D! As you are walking into the mall Saturday morning to get in the venue, you will have the chance to grab a quick bite from one of the food vendors set up outside Entrance D. Don’t worry, they’ll be available for most of the day and past lunch time so you’ll have to a chance to have more food options besides our food court during lunch break! Discounts will be provided by the food court.

Redbull:
We are finishing up the final details but RedBull will hopefully join us to give all players FREE RedBull throughout the entire event.

As Game Guys keep bettering the quality of Regionals, we continue to break records!

March 18th PHHY Regional:
-Broke the record for the most attendance for any Texas Regional ever for Yu-Gi-Oh!

June 10th CYAC Regional:
1. Broke the Record for most attendance percentage according to cap IN THE NATION out of the entire CYAC season. We had a 76% attendance rate compared to the next highest at 71%.
2. The same day, Philadelphia was having their Regional with a cap of 740 and we had a higher attendance than them by over 100 players!

This is proof that what we are doing is working to bring the community together and stronger than ever! We are proud as a team to see the fruits of our labor and we hope to continue growing and making Houston the best!

Houston we are back at Game Guy but this time in the new location inside Almeda Mall. Thanks to Shakenbake_ERT for once again delivering on some killer art for the playmat seen in the graphic above.

Entry: $20 (Tournament Pack on Entry)(Bandai TCG+)

What is the Sunny Circuit? ---------------------------------------------
The Sunny Circuit will be a One Piece TCG tournament circuit that will have 5 tournaments throughout 2023 and end in a final championship tournament towards the end of the year.
Top 8 players will receive an invite to the final tournament. If you already have an invite the next player down will receive the invite.
What is prizing and do we get anything on entry? -------------------------

Prizing will consist of Top 8/Winner Playmat exclusively made for the Sunny Circuit by Shakenbake_ERT and a % of the store credit pot to the final 4. 1st Place will also receive a full metal don deck. On entry you will receive a tournament pack.

What format will be used? --------------------------------------------------
Sunny Circuit will be best of 1 with 35 min rounds and be using a Swiss Rounds + Single Elimination Top Cut Finals. Swiss rounds will end when only one undefeated remains or the number of rounds have been reached. Afterwards we will proceed to top cut and deck checks will be done before moving onto Elimination rounds.
