Hey guys. Yesterday I had a post boosted through Facebook credit. It wasn’t my normal post I would boost, but with the credit, Facebook picked the post for me and I had to continue with it. Since then, people have been commenting that it’s “spam” and laugh reacting/angry reacting because it’s not what “they want to see”. My business is not “spam”; it is something I created when I was in a dark place and it has given me something to look forward to every single day. There’s a beautiful feature on Facebook that allows you to ignore posts or stop seeing posts all together from your feed. You have that option with my business. I know it’s easy to forget because we’re all sucked into social media and the presence we give on it… but these accounts are ran by humans with REAL feelings. Just because something isn’t your preference doesn’t mean you get the chance to make someone feel bad. Life is about likes and dislikes, you won’t like everything! My art is unique to me, just like any other artist. You may not understand it, and that’s okay! But you don’t get to make my business look bad because it’s not your cup of tea. Eris’ Eden is just starting and will continue to flourish. My art doesn’t stop, it only grows 🌺
Going forward, I will continue to create. I will continue to show people what I can do. I will continue to live authentic to myself and not to social media.
