I am so excited to welcome DeAngela “Nikki” Braden back to Chat with Trina �

My first conversation with Nikki was in April 2022, and since then, she has done incredible work in the autism community in honor of her son.

She is the founder of Kodie’s Kushion Autism Foundation 501(c)(3), and her impact continues to grow through community support, awareness, and meaningful initiatives for families.

In honor of Autism Acceptance Month, we will be having a powerful and informative conversation about autism, community, and the amazing work she is doing.

There were so many interesting things I learned about her that I honestly did not know. Her journey. Her resilience. Her heart for the music. It was deeper than I expected — and I love when conversations teach me something new.

But beyond the music, what blessed me most was her spirit.

Donna is kind. She is gracious. She is genuine. And in an industry where people sometimes feel pressure to be hard just to be respected, she reminded me that you can still be good and still be great. That encouraged me personally.

She has a fan for life in Ms. Trina. 💕
