Another fabulous week of Fiber Arts camp in the books! I’ll never get over how happy it makes me to bring these mediums to children. There’s magic in the slowing down if you’re willing to embrace the initial discomfort of choosing patience and repetition. Wet felting, punch needle, weaving, sewing owl pincushions, ocean themed mobiles and more... three cheers for these amazing campers!

Can’t believe we’re already halfway through these summer days! What a fast and furious session of clay and sculpture we had last week. Clay, humble and humbling, always has something deep and new to teach me (including new levels of patience!) as a teacher and a person.

A peek inside the joyful process of pour painting. It’s an excellent way to build confidence through DOING. The children also learn how to go with the flow and trust the process. Always a crowd pleaser. 👩‍🎨
