The singers from MCMS and KIPP Sharpstown are so talented, and it’s incredible to see their voices harmonize, their confidence grow, and their creativity shine with every note. Moments like these remind us why arts education is so powerful: it builds skill, collaboration, and a love for music that lasts a lifetime.

From leading choirs to touring the world, Laura brings a lifetime of leadership, artistry, and care into her choir room at Pearland Junior High East. Her journey—from serving as a U.S. Air Force officer and performing across the globe, to practicing law and returning to her first love, music education—is anything but ordinary.
