ROC Nation has snagged another major gospel artist for a distribution deal.
Legendary gospel artist, Hezekiah Walker, recently shared on social media that he has entered into a distribution deal with ROC Nation, the entertainment management company founded by hip-hop mogul, Jay-Z.
Walker's Hez House Entertainment had most recently partnered with RCA Inspiration for distribution.
Now, Walker is celebrating the ROC Nation deal and calls it a “historical” and “favor” moment.
Moreover, Walker shared that his new single, "Favor," is featured on the cover of ROC Nation Distribution’s INSPIRED playlist.
Hezekiah Walker’s announcement comes as ROC Nation continues to expand its reach into gospel and inspirational music.
Earlier this year, legendary gospel singer, Marvin Sapp, announced a partnership with ROC Nation Distribution for his upcoming album RESTORATION.
Both Walker and Sapp have worked with producer and music executive Stanley Brown who has been instrumental in bringing gospel talent into the ROC Nation ecosystem.
The ROC Nation partnerships open the possibility to expand the reach of gospel music.
As Hezekiah Walker himself put it: "Thanks for the opportunity to put gospel music in the ear of those who wouldn’t normally hear it."
