Hot Sulphur Springs Creative Arts Council Webpage: https://sites.google.com/site/hsscreativecoop/

Etsy Store: https://www.etsy.com/shop/HSSCr We meet two times a month usually for and hour and half.

The Hot Sulphur Springs Creative Arts Council discovers, inspires and assists local living and historic artists in the area. We have had two very successful art exhibitions since forming. We are currently working on a membership drive and have secured a camper for a mobile art gallery and the H.S.S. Town Board has been very supportive in allowing us too use their building for meeting, art shows and artistic special events.

Wilderness Workshop Accepting Apps for Artists in Wilderness - Abstract nature photography

Founded in 1967, the Wilderness Workshop is the conservation watchdog of nearly 4 million acres of public lands in western Colorado.

The Artist in Wilderness program invites artists for one-week residencies near Aspen in the summer and fall months (July to October). WW has earned a national reputation for passionate advocacy, grassroots effectiveness, and scientific authority.

This year the nonprofit is seeking artists experimenting with abstract nature photography, defined by conveying feeling, mood, color, movement and/or texture with photographic imagery. Candidates are selected by a jury of regional artists, collectors and arts administrators. Selected artists will be provided with housing, a hiking guide if requested, a $1,500 stipend, and reimbursement for travel.

Artists can apply online. https://artist.callforentry.org/festivals_unique_info.php?ID=6236
