Huge leap forward for our project! Plumbing is in, concrete is poured and everything passed inspection!

Our contractors Positive Projects set up an awesome BBQ for our family and the crew to enjoy during the concrete pour. Sunshine, good company and great food to celebrate moving forward!

The next step is framing and ceiling paint!

Progress on a project we've been working on! This room is the future location of the Tech room...where our arcade technician will be fixing games 🕹️

There are lots of big exciting things happening around the building, but those are being done by contractors. This room has been demoed, rebuilt and painted by us!

Our amazing neighbors at The Jitter House added something special for us to their building! Thanks for being such great friends already!

Look at what we found when we removed this huge safe! Such cool pieces of local history.

We found an advertisement for fruit from the old Safeway located here, a poster for a contest from the 1965 inauguration and a concert poster from the old Wigwam Inn.

Does anyone recognize these or have info on them? We would love to hear stories connected to these posters!

Who's ready for a local arcade again?! We are pushing so hard to get open and it should just be a few more months!!!

We've been working together on this dream of ours for 8 years. Back in 2018 we decided it was time to branch out and open an arcade of our own because we have a huge passion for the business. We dove headfirst into planning and got the opportunity to open Starcade in Seabrook, WA. Unfortunately due to roadblocks, the Covid lockdown and personal health concerns, our dream was derailed. We were devastated and we set down the idea in 2021...but never really let it go.

Fast forward to early 2025 and we kept driving by this empty building in downtown Hoquiam. We would both make remarks on how cool that location would be as an arcade. And at some point we both agreed that it was now or never to make our dream a reality. We jumped back into planning, researching, and looking into funding.

And now, here we are starting construction and executing our plans for Starcade! Things have taken a little longer than expected, but that's how these things go sometimes. We are still so passionate about this business and the joy it will bring to our community!
