Update time!

The plans are coming along amazingly and we will be submitting for permits very soon! Our construction team, Positive Projects, has done an amazing job helping bring Starcade to life!

As with most projects like this, there have been some hiccups and delays. There were some unforeseen renovations to take care of before we can start the construction.

We are eager to announce an opening date and will be doing that ASAP once we have the construction schedule nailed down!

We appreciate everyone's continued support and can't wait to welcome y'all in when we open!

Ok, this is really cool! Not everyone gets to say they live in Hawkuiam!

Please see the attached proclamation by Mayor Ben Winkelman temporarily renaming the City of Hoquiam as the City of Hawkuiam! The 12's in Grays Harbor are fired up for the Super Bowl. Go Seahawks!!!

Demolition has begun in preparation for construction to start! We are so excited to be moving forward and getting this arcade open!

Hello! We thought it was about time we introduced ourselves. We are Erin and Steve Jeffreys, the proud owners of Starcade!

We are very family oriented and our family is equal parts love and equal parts goofy. We have a total of 5 kids ranging from ages 10 to 26 years old and we are going to be grandparents soon! We have lived in Hoquiam for almost 18 years and we love this community.

Steve has an impressive 30 years of experience in the arcade industry! From running a pizza kitchen in an arcade, to fixing any and all game problems, Steve has a deep knowledge of how to successfully run a family entertainment business. Our promise to you is games that are well taken care of and clean!

Erin's expertise lies in operations and customer service! Creating amazing guest experiences, taking pride in cleanliness and connecting with people is Erin's passion. Not to mention hosting awesome birthday parties and events. We promise that every person who comes in will feel welcome and have a great time!

Many locals may remember Steve and Erin from a popular arcade in Aberdeen that closed last year. Since it's closing, our community has been in need of indoor entertainment and activities. Arcades are a timeless source of joy for those who visit them, and with so much going on in people's lives, Starcade will serve as a place to have fun and destress a bit. Whether you are there for the yummy food, the great prizes or the atmosphere, Starcade hopes to be a lighthearted way to bring fun into your life!

We can't wait to open and meet all of you!

Jitter House, in junction with Haunted Hoquiam, is hosting a trunk or treat in the JH parking lot on October 25th!

To make all this spooky action happen for the kids, we need you!

Give Kevin a call to reserve your spot at the trunk or treat. It's free of charge. You get to decorate your spot however you like, pass out candy and/or kid friendly company swag, and offer a safe and fun event for the whole family! We encourage you to get creative, maybe set up a game or two!

What arcade games are you excited to see at Starcade?

Last week our management team attended a really awesome expo for arcade owners! We got to test cool new games, check out tons of prizes and sit in informative seminars. We are so excited to be bringing this arcade to life and can't wait to be THE place on the harbor for entertainment!
