First fair of 2026 that I am OFFICIALLY scheduled for! This fair (Shepherd Hill) blew all other fairs of the past decade out of the water (and then some.) I can only hope that sales are like they were last year, and don't continue the "starving artist" trend that this year has started out as.

This framed, 8x8 piece contains 16 different scrapbook paper designs for the petals and a blue vintage button. Entire canvas (except for the button) has been Mod Podged, so these petals will be staying in place for years to come. $32 (plus tax/shipping, if applicable.) I LOVE making new creations and I adore scrapbook paper, so I'm hoping to make many more of these in the future. 😀

I found a bit of inspiration at Michael's (first time THAT'S happened since 1996), and that, combined with Google and Pinterest, led me to some cool ideas on how to use the insane amount of scrapbook paper that I currently possess. This was a ton of fun to make, and because it contains a button...still button art! 😆 I think I'm leaning toward the white frame, but could be convinced to go grey.

My family is going to an outdoor World Cup watch party tonight, and while it sounds like a ton of fun and I would normally go, it's about a thousand degrees and SUPER soupy outside, and I'm just not made for this weather. I would take snow ANY DAY over this (I see those glares!) 😂 Our dining room table (which is my craft table when we're not eating) is directly in front of the A/C, so I'm planning to sit there tonight and make something brand new. Between a trip to Michael's the other day and a bunch of subsequent googling, I've been inspired to try a new to me idea. While it may only end up containing a single button, that's enough for me to call it "button art." Any guesses?
