It is with both a heavy heart, and great gratitude that we are announcing the closure of Ong King Arts Center. After 14 ½ years of amazing performances, life-changing experiences, and some of the best music, spoken work, and dance that this island has ever seen, Ong King is shutting its doors. We wanted to express a great gratitude for everyone who has contributed to this altar of expression over the years, and we hope that all who experienced that divine craziness will continue to carry the inspiration, the love, and the community wherever they may go. We will also continue to appreciate the memories, lessons, and possibilities that began here. This is not the end, it will be a time for new beginnings, and hopefully many new projects will sprout from the seeds that Ong King has planted. Thank you for having made it what it was, and holding us in your heart all of these years.

If you have any property in the space, let us know, as we will be completely vacating the space by Jan 1st.

Aloha Facebook fam,

Last night Jamie and I journeyed to an open mic night at onG kinG aRts cenTer in Honolulu. We had been told about it by three people since we got on Island, and figured that was a sign to check it out.

Well, lo and behold the universe prevails, and we got offered to be part of a local music radio showcase on KTUH Honolulu tonight!

If you’re on Oahu you can tune in 90.1, or you can listen to the stream on the www.KTUH.org

We have an interview starting at 9:30 pm, and we play an hour of music from 10-11 pm 😊

I am humbled and grateful for the support that has been given our way.
