Ready for a miracle story? But not a religious one. This is the non-denominational kind. All faiths (and athiests) welcome. This is a true story that proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt (at least to me) that human beings are, despite all news headlines to the contrary, inherently good.

Powerful words from TLC (The Light Council) about these tumultuous times...

"All the events, all the global events in the world have vibrational origins that are informed by the totality of human consciousness. So, nothing is an accident. Nothing.

Just taking that truth in is empowering, because it is disempowering to think that one has nothing to do with what is happening externally.

The question is…how does one relate to these events… some of which appear to be catastrophic and huge and overwhelming. How does one relate to these events as an individual?

And here’s where a choice can be made.

The choice can be made to fuel or inform the totality of these events… we’ll use the phrase catastrophic events …with the expected energies and responses, which is fear, which is voyeuristic pleasure, as we spoke about, which is an addictive kind of driving by the automobile accident, the rubbernecking, so to speak, with a kind of fascination…

Or…

…one can be aware of that tendency, which all humans have. That is part of the egoic make up, the egoic mechanism. One can be aware, recognize that human tendency, own that human tendency - don’t deny it, don’t poo-poo it, don’t look away from it - own it, recognize it, and then choose to energetically or vibrationally inform or infuse these energies, these vibrations with the power and clarity of divine love, of divine peace, of divine power, and this is not something that the individual can manipulate. This is a decision to surrender and make oneself a vehicle, a container, a vehicle for this divine power.

That is the choice: to contribute to the voyeuristic pleasure and fear, which informs these events and powers them in a certain way… Or surrender to the divine peace and love and power that exists and allow one’s vibrational body to be a vehicle.

That is really the choice. And the more human beings that are consciously making that choice, the quicker, in a way, this divine electricity, so to speak, can power through and light up the dark places.

So, if you imagine humanity as a series of connected bulbs and every time an individual becomes aware of what we are talking about and makes a conscious choice to surrender to the greater power, their light bulb lights up. And when there is enough lit light bulbs, and we have talked about a tipping point in the past, then the light, using the metaphor of light, can light up the world, and we're just using that as a metaphor– light and light bulbs.

And we will say that this is going to be very, very, very important in the coming days.

There will be more events. There is a quickening happening and there will be one after another of these events that will shake at the roots of people's sense of security and sense of power or powerlessness, and this is the choice that can be made each and every time, each and every moment.

So not everyone is ready to hear this level of responsibility, but this voyeuristic pleasure is throwing gasoline on the fire. The sort of obsessive, addictive watching and listening unconsciously, without consciousness, fuels the fire. So that’s step one, recognizing and acknowledging what already exists within you.

And then once that is recognized and acknowledged, to then literally say to yourself:

I am choosing. I am making the choice to surrender, give myself, mind, body, and spirit, fully to the Divine, for purposes of allowing the Divine power, allowing Divine love, allowing Divine peace, whatever the language is for you, to utilize me, mind, body, and spirit, for purposes of awakening humanity’s consciousness, for purposes of humanity’s evolution. Wrote this poem after hearing of Jan McGrath's passing...
Titled: It’s Getting Awfully Crowded Up There

Lately, I been less afraid of death.
After all, it’s not a stark white doctor’s office
Where you pull down your pants
Or spread your legs for that shiny cold speculum

And it’s not an overcrowded New York post office
at Christmas time
Where the annoying guy in front of you
is shipping a dozen boxes to Papa New Guinea

These days I’ve got lots of friends on the other side
Too many
People I’ll be happy to see
Assuming they’ll be happy to see me.

I hope there really is a rainbow bridge
Where beloved pets, full of p**s and vinegar,
bound joyously to greet us

Big, sweet Zoey, who loved to leap from the boat into the ocean
but fled from the hum of a vacuum cleaner.
Fluffy white Max, my first dog
who scared me when he growled playing tug of war
Mickey Sunshine, who lost the tips of her ears from frostbite
(at least that’s what the animal psychic told me)

And then there are the two-legged ones,
Joanne, who loved dolphins almost as much as me,
Carrie, who made me want to be more Jewish
Aunt Hilda, who didn’t believe in anything at all
until she whispered, moments before she died,
the Light, the Light, the Light.

I hope my parents are there too, younger and happier,
liberated from the horrors of World War Two and a mismatched marriage.

I hope I see Alan, too, improvising and writing
and building an even more glorious Second City.

And yet,
and yet,
loss still shatters me.
I cannot fathom the grief of a child lost,
Of husbands gone,
Of best friends buried deep in the earth.

My aging skin and ancient cells
didn’t seem to get the message about this eternal self.
My swollen bloodshot eyes are blind to the words
from the Bhagavad Gita, the Torah, the Quran.

I guess I’ll have to be content with what I think I know for sure,
what I want to know for sure,
what I desperately believe I know for sure,
And what I don’t.

And hopefully, on that fateful day,
when my sun sets and the last sound is uttered,
the room will be chockfull, jam-packed
with a real, raucous, rowdy welcome home.
