about a month ago I set out to build my own website and really get Hawk and Feather back to where it used to be...then I found out, during the time when my Mom was passing away, my domain had expired and was immediately "scalped" by someone else. It's most likely a scammer group who buys recently expired domains, forcing domain owners to broker/buy it back for obscene amounts of money. I didn't just pick this name out of thin air either... we've operated under this name since 2013...it's combination of Romans (deceased) Fathers original shop Red Feather Gallery, and my connections with (Red Tail) Hawks since I was kid. Hawk & Feather 💛 I made an offer to buy my domain back, and they won't respond, leaving me to wonder if someone has been babysitting my page/small business and waiting to take my name 🙁 with that being said, I'm left with the decision to fully give up/close, or go with a new name (something I don't want to do whatsoever) I'm posting this for full transparency AND to say, whoever made the choice to do this really sucks. I'm hoping there is some hope that I can negotiate to get it back...maybe whoever felt the need to STEAL my domain, will see this, and just do the right thing and let me pay you to get it back.

We will be closing at the end of this month until further notice, as I transition into advocating and caregiving for my Mom full-time 💜 I'll be 100% transparent that any extra income I can make before closing will help. We are taking a pause and returning when we are best able to. Both of our Moms are experiencing severe medical issues, one here in Florida and the other in Georgia. Your thoughts, vibes, and prayers are appreciated. As much as I hate to, I will be refunding and canceling all open orders and temporarily putting our shop into closure.

I received a request from a lovely woman who had recently lost her husband, wanting to turn some of his vast collection of Arrowheads into necklaces for their grandchildren. All of these were hand-collected in Chester County, South Carolina🤎it was truly an honor to work on this order 🤟

my Mom has been in the hospital since Friday and i anticipate her being there for several more days. All open Etsy orders will ship within the next 24-48 hours, and I will be putting FB group sales on hold for the time being. I will still be accepting orders on Etsy with an extended turnaround time of 7-10 days from the date of your order being placed. If things change I will update these processing times and ship orders as quickly as possible. Your patience during this time is appreciated immensely!!
