Creating a space people want to gather in is equal parts planning, strategy and talking to yourself 😂

Come along with me for the final touches of a setup that went completely according to plan 🤗 This was a solo setup (minus a little muscle getting the sofa into place), so you get the unfiltered version of what goes through my head while I'm working. Ok maybe a little filtered/edited.

Every well-designed event has a moment like this.

A piece like this is planned for. It solves more than styling, it creates a natural gathering point.

It could be a welcome champagne on arrival. A curated cocktail moment. A dessert display or even an espresso bar.

Its flexible and purposeful.

When every element has a role, the event feels effortless....And that’s the goal.

And you’ll notice...no florals, no styling, no distractions here. Before anything is layered on, the piece itself should stand on its own.

If it works like this, it works in any design. That’s how we choose what makes the inventory.

The events that feel different always have this.

There’s something about a lounge. You feel it right away in a space. It feels elevated and considered. Just like every detail had a reason.

A lounge gives guests a place to pause, sit, and actually take it in. Subtle, but it changes the whole space.

When I started sourcing these pieces, it wasn’t because we needed more inventory....
..it was because I care about how a room feels.

Wood softens a space. It makes everything else look better. It adds warmth without trying too hard.

I am going to get sentimental for a moment, these pieces are where people at your event lean in to connect. Where grandparents rest. Where couples sneak a breath. Where the photos end up happening naturally. Those off the cuff, photos that everyone says are "the best photos of the event".

I don’t bring pieces in just to fill space. I bring them in because they change the energy of a room. Truly.
