The calligraphers who are...

🤩 booking their dreamy clients
💸 charging more and not apologizing for it
⏰ and actually getting their time back

Aren’t more talented or more visible than you.

👉 They built their foundation first, in the right order.

And here’s what that actually looks like on the other side:

✔️ Hitting send on a proposal without shaving a little off the top, just to be safe.
✔️ An inquiry coming in and not having to mentally block out two hours to figure out how to respond.
✔️ A slow week that doesn’t spiral into questioning everything or falling down the next marketing rabbit hole.
✔️ A real day off — phone down, laptop closed — and the business not falling apart because you’re not in it.

That’s the part nobody talks about enough...

It’s not just the doubled project values, the increased minimums, or the first $10K month.

It’s that the second-guessing quiets.
The pricing conversations stop feeling loaded.
The business finally feels like something you’re leading instead of something you’re surviving.

That’s what building your foundation in the right order actually does.

💬 Messaging first.
🌟 Client experience second.
⚙️ Systems third.

In that order, as one complete system, with support from someone who actually understands what it’s like to run a calligraphy business.

🎉 Doors to the Summer Cohort of Flourish in Biz are officially OPEN! And this is the exact work we do inside.

DM me FIB to stop piecing your business together and start building the foundation that actually holds everything you’re working toward. 🤍

You can pull tactics from here, strategies from there.
Piece together templates and tutorials.
Or try this week’s newest hack.

And something will work — for a little while.

But isolated tactics and random solutions aren’t a foundation.
They’re just a prettier version of the same patchwork you’ve already been running.

And building out of order costs you more time, more money, and more mental energy than you’re willing to admit — and makes growing your business 10x harder than it needs to be.

Here’s what changes when you build on a solid foundation, in the right order:

Not just higher revenue months.
Not just more consistent income.
The ease and freedom you’ve been craving since you started this thing. 🤍

Building your business piece by piece got you here — and that deserves to be celebrated. But it won’t get you to dreamier clients, breathing room, and income that doesn’t depend on whether you had a good posting week.

It’ll only lead to burnout. Ask me how I know 😅

That’s exactly what I’m walking through on May 14th inside the Five Figure Month Framework — not just the four-part foundation every calligraphy business needs, but the order to build it in so your effort actually starts to compound.

Comment or DM me “FFM” to stop building in circles and finally put the pieces together in the right order!

Every time cash flow felt tight, my brain would immediately go there 👇

Scramble to put a post together at 11pm.
Go to a networking event.
Fall down an SEO rabbit hole.
Try Pinterest.
Start a blog.

Literally anything to get a new lead.

And I bet you’re doing the same thing. 😅

But all of that meant more energy on content ideas, more time at networking events, more admin on new leads, more proposals, more discovery calls 🫠

More of everything — just to get to the same place.

And then one year, I looked at my numbers and realized I had generated an extra $15K in revenue from upsells alone 🤯

People already working with me.
Who already trusted me.
Who came to me asking: “Can you also help with...?”

There were natural upsell moments already living inside my process 💡
I just wasn’t using them.

And that wasn’t even counting the follow-ups sitting unsent.
The referrals that went untapped.
The repeat clients I never made it easy enough to come back.

All of it = a hefty chunk of income just sitting there waiting to be unlocked.

$10K months are closer than you think.
Especially when you know where to look. 🤍

Comment or DM me “FFM” to stop chasing new leads and find out exactly where the revenue is already hiding in your calligraphy business. 🗓️ It’s happening live on May 14th!

Leads are coming into your calligraphy business.

People are finding you on Google.
Referrals are coming in.
The inquiry form is getting filled out.

But they’re just not booking.

Somewhere between your response and sending the proposal, you either hear crickets —
or the one you dread the most: “We love your work, but you’re a little out of our budget.”

You start to wonder if you should just come down a little.
You convince yourself that if you could just get a few more eyes coming into your business, you’d make up the difference.

And underneath all of it, there’s this feeling of: I don’t know where to go next. 😮‍💨

The calligraphers who stopped hearing “you’re out of our budget” didn’t lower their prices.
They built something that made the price feel obvious before it ever landed.

When that’s in place, people don’t just inquire with you — they actually hire you.

More consistent revenue.
Capacity to grow.
More ease behind the scenes.

All without a new audience, a rebrand, or panic posting at 11pm.

The backend of your business finally matches the quality of work you’ve been delivering all along.

You’re not quietly bracing every time you hit send on a proposal anymore.

You’re not wondering if this one will convert.
You built the thing that made all of that feel obvious. 🤍

That’s exactly what I’m walking through on May 14th. 🗓️

Comment or DM me “FFM” to see what this looks like in your specific business — and finally understand what’s actually standing between you and the bookings already sitting in your inbox!

Nobody wants to say these out loud, but here we are 😅

1️⃣ You don’t need more inquiries, and you definitely don’t need to invest in SEO to hit your first $10K month.

2️⃣ Trying the latest marketing hack, posting more consistently, or growing a bigger following won’t get you there any faster.

3️⃣ Neither will more talent, a rebrand, or a prettier portfolio.

4️⃣ Taking on more clients or adding more revenue streams isn’t how you hit $10K months — it’s how you burn out trying. (Ask me how I know. 🙋🏻‍♀️)

5️⃣ $10K months don’t come from raising your prices and hoping for the best.

Less talented calligraphers are out-earning you right now. And it has nothing to do with their work 👀

The difference between calligraphers hitting five-figure months and the ones stuck at the same ceiling isn’t their talent, effort, or how much they’re marketing.

It’s what they built underneath all of that 🤍

🗓️ Join me live on May 14th for the Five Figure Month Framework, where I’m taking you behind the scenes of exactly what it takes to hit five-figure months — without burning out trying to get there.

Comment or DM me “FFM” to stop guessing and finally see what’s actually standing between you and your first or next $10K 👇

Ask me how I know 😅

Because I lived the opposite first, and now I help other calligraphers get there too!

93 weddings. Six figures. Completely unsustainable behind the scenes. I wanted to burn it all down 🔥

Then I rebuilt it in the right order.

35 weddings at $3K each ✨

Breathing room for passion projects, new income streams, and just... living!

Same calligrapher.
Completely different business.

The difference wasn’t more hustle, more visibility, or a better content strategy.

It was the foundation underneath 🪨

🗓️ On May 14th I’m pulling back the curtain on the exact framework that makes five-figure months repeatable — without adding more to your plate to get there.

This training is specifically for the calligrapher who’s already in motion.

You’re getting leads. 📩
You’re booking some of them.
Maybe you’ve even got some tools set up.

But the process still feels like a free-for-all.
You’re quoting people and going quiet.
You’re rewriting the same emails over and over.
You’re not sure which piece to fix first.

And you know the business could be running so much better than it is right now.

That’s exactly who this is built for 🤍

If you’re new here, hi I’m Alane! 👋
Wedding calligrapher 👉 business coach.

And probably the most specific person you’ll find when it comes to helping calligraphers, stationers, and live event artists stop piecing their business together and start running it like the premium service it actually is.

Most coaching programs hand you tactics.
✔️ Set up HoneyBook.
✔️ Post more consistently.
✔️ Raise your prices.

All solid advice. And most of it will work eventually...
But only if the foundation underneath it is already solid.

If it isn’t?
❌ You set up HoneyBook, and it still feels like a free-for-all.
❌ You raise your prices, and bookings don’t follow.
❌ You post consistently, and the right clients still aren’t converting.

Not because the tactics are wrong.
Because they were built before the foundation was ready to hold them.

What I’ve never seen anyone else in this space teach is the order 🪜

I know building in the right order works because I’ve lived it.

In 2021 I had 93 weddings, crossed six figures, and still wanted to burn it all down.
I rebuilt everything in the right order and went from being scared to charge $150 for a welcome sign to booking $5K weddings.
Less work. More aligned clients. More money. More breathing room.

Then I started teaching other calligraphers to do the same.

One came in hesitant to charge $300. Now she’s booking $3K weddings and just celebrated her first $10K month 🎉

Another went from a 15% conversion rate to almost fully booked for 2026. Same prices. Same market. Different foundation 💪

A third came in with no minimum and “very little confidence in myself as a professional because of the mess on the backend.” Her average project value this year is three times what it was last year 🥂

None of it came from more posting, a rebrand, or a bigger following.
It all came from building the right foundation in the right order.

That’s what I teach. And on May 14th, I’m breaking it down live so you can see exactly what it looks like in your own numbers! 🗓️

Comment or DM me “FFM” to grab your spot and walk away knowing exactly what your foundation needs so everything you’re already doing actually starts to convert! 🤍

In 2021, I had 93 weddings on my calendar and crossed the six-figure mark for the first time...

And I was miserable 🫠

I was saying yes to misaligned inquiries because I was scared to turn them away.
Still hearing “you’re a little out of our budget” on a $1,000 proposal.
Watching clients finish a project and just disappear — no referrals, no add-ons, no coming back.

I was holding every piece of my business together manually, working until midnight, fully booked, and still running reactively instead of actually leading it.

So I made a decision that felt insane at the time.

🔥 I burned it all down and rebuilt my business in the right order.

By making foundational changes, I went from charging $150 for a one-off welcome sign to an average wedding value of $5K today.

📌 On May 14th, I’m taking you behind the scenes of the exact framework I took my own business through — so that you too can hit five-figure months in your calligraphy business 👀

This isn’t just another live training with tips 👉 You’ll walk away with your real numbers mapped out so you can see exactly how much revenue is already sitting in your business! 💸

More aligned clients. More sustainable revenue. More breathing room.

All of that is already sitting in your business. Building your foundation in the right order is what unlocks it! 🔑
