Deep Sea Light Show, watercolor and ink, 16x20” unframed.

I love working on owls. They are so mysterious and interesting to me. It’s crazy that they can rotate their necks 270 degrees and that their eyes aren’t true “eyeballs.” Their tube-shaped eyes are completely immobile which provide them binocular vision. They can fully focus on their prey and boost their depth perception. 😳 Pretty cool! And weird.
I’m working on a couple different projects right now and am creating a collection of Florida wildlife, specifically here in Martin County.
