Is PEACE in your cup today? As a little girl, every year I would ask my daddy what he wanted for Christmas and he would reply "Peace on Earth".

As an adult, now I understand that request!

It's just 4 days till Christmas!

8 months ago I met Melissa Wilby and her 4 lovely little girls! Yesterday they arrived back in snowy Canada from whence they came. 😔

In this VERY Short time we had together, one of the moms at the school had told her last summer that I was starting a girls tea party creative club and let's just say, Melissa was instrumental in keeping her thumb in my back to just START IT!!!

She was the 1st one to sign up her 4 girls as members and she didn't stop there! She invited every mom of girls in her 4 daughters classes!!!

The last week of school, was full of class Christmas parties and she had asked me to lead a craft for the 1st graders..

As we sat the night before with glue guns in our hands gluing noses & antlers on pudding cups and reinforcing jute on the ornament craft ... we laughed, & cried and shared visions & fears of the coming years for our girls... and best of all; ended in prayer.

We don't understand how the Lord chooses to "give and take awaÿ" but one thing He has shown me through this time is: we must still BLESS the name of the Lord and thank Him for the times He gave us! 🙏

Please pray for them!! They miss their Florida friends and we miss them too!

Pray for Peace for Melissa & Ryan as they are separated over Christmas, & he is trying to sell their home (if it is Gods will that it be sold ☺️hoping they would be back 😉)

Hard to believe this was the last 5th grade art & craft class of the year!!

Look at these kiddos creations! 🥰
They did a Great Job!! 👏🏼👏🏼 Don’t you think?

The modge podge “words” were pages of an old Bible & an old dictionary that someone was throwing away and I rescued it for repurposed & purposeful crafts .

I told the kiddos that the verses (Old Testament Lamentations, Joel & Amos) & words they put on their ornaments remind us that ‘however smart men of this world think they are, they will always make a mess of this world if they don’t know the true source of PEACE ON EARTH that Jesus brings to each & every heart!

2 Sunday afternoons a month, the Godly Graceful Girls pARTea members that are able to, meet on zoom for a little extra faith n fun time to make a page for our Joy Journals.

Today we water colored a simple nativity and talked about what we like to do to CALM ourselves when we are feeling anxious or just need to relax from the busyness and prayed for Jesus to help us remember All is Calm All is Bright!

At the end of our full days, I think we all are ready for a “Silent Night”, eh?

Happy Thanksgiving 🍁 Friends!

After the last guest leaves today; the girls will be anxious to pack away the fall decor and go all in on Christmas!

So this morning I’m reflecting on this tree painting I did at a 16:26 womens retreat last month and thought I would share the sweet confirmation God gave me out there, that I was like a tree planted by water that will bring forth fruit in HIS season.

They spoke of how our lives are full of SEASONS and encouraged us to paint the season we felt we were in and embrace it.

On my painting, the 3 branches represent the 3 age groups (5-9, 10-12, 13-17) that I am focused on for the 3G pARTea club. Not to say it won’t branch out further, but this is a start!

I am holding my branches outstretched and God the great creator & author of endless creativity Himself, is bringing every little leaf 🍃 🍂 🍁 (life) to this Godly Graceful Girl pARTea Club. I am amazed at His goodness and humbled at His grace in my life to begin girls clubs not only in Hobe Sound Florida but around USA, Canada and any other country He leads.

In November we packed out our time with 3 stations: apple crisp making, creative verse memorization, & sunflower verse painting making it a most memorable fall tea party!!

Here’s a Fun Idea to do in your creative journals!

Today I challenged the 5th grade art class to use collected nature, paper towel & fingers as their paintbrushes and think about things they are blessed, thankful & happy for. 🧡

They did not argue with me! In fact, it was tough pulling them to the door when the time was up! 😉 I love seeing kids enjoy art & nature and I believe it makes our Father in heaven smile too!

You have been in heaven a year now (on Sunday 11/6).
You were one of my biggest cheerleaders in pushing me to go forward with pARTeas with Purpose 3G club! Thank you for believing in me!

This past Sunday the 3G club members met in fellowship over a Faith n Fun Journalling Zoom where I had planned to bring back & teach this grateful pumpkin that you painted 2 years ago with us around my table at our 1st paint pARTea. You said “I don’t paint but I’ll come have fun!” 😄 You were always a good sport and amazing supporter!
But Just L👀K at the amazing job you did!! 😍 Seeing your pumpkin come together brought me so much joy!

It was a unique God-hug on Sunday 11/6 because this was your 1yr birthday in heaven. I had honestly had forgotten the date till my daughter Natalie reminded me and asked if we could visit your gravesite. I had already made this event for Sunday so I smiled when I remembered you painted this with us 🥲

We had a great time reminiscing about you on Sunday and shared differences between being thankful & being grateful. You would have enjoyed it. 🧡🙏
We drank Coca-Cola in tea cups - in your memory instead of tea. 🥰 Love & miss you so much Mrs Deckard!!

5th grade art fun today 🤩
I encouraged the children to shine for Jesus in a world of darkness.

Let me tell you about the 1st photo here…

The top picture shows his 1st try and the bottom picture shows his 3rd try.

I could tell he was frustrated with himself that he wasn’t getting his lines to match and he was trying to keep his eyes from welling up with tears in front of his peers.

I decided to give him a 3rd paper and this time put 4 dots to mark his starting points for arches for the heart then guided him on his “banana shapes” for the sides.

His final work (pictured bottom) brought him more belief that he COULD draw! I told him I was super proud of him for following instructions and for adding his own creative flair to it!

I feel like I learned something myself today too 🧡

Do you LOVE CLEARANCED DEALS? 🚨

After Halloween, look for price slashed pumpkins at dollar tree & craft stores and I’ll teach you & your kiddos how to UpCycle it to match your Thanksgiving decor!

At this months (October) pARTea, the 6-9 yr olds had so much fun turning a Halloween pumpkin into a new creation for their home.

I’m currently editing the video tutorial makeover for my 3G members and writing out the Create Heart lesson guide for leaders. Members will always have access to use it for and with pARTeas, gatherings, & faith n fun family moments!

Always remember… What the enemy intends for evil, with Gods help we can turn it for good!

Yesterday we began a bi-monthly Sunday Zoom for our Journals with the members inside the 3G Club (Godly Graceful Girls pARTea Club)

To be honest, I sat at my table another hour and kept working on mine until I liked it better! 😉

I ended up burrowing a couple holes in it because I kept marker painting layers 😂and this is not watercolor paper!! 🤦‍♀️

I was going to start over but God said “nope keep it! It depicts the life of growing in grace and in the knowledge of my son Jesus. You will have battle scars but it will still be beautiful”

So grateful He speaks through simple art play.

Friday night began our 1st official “Godly Graceful Girls” pARTea Club for 10-12 yr olds!!

These girls know how to pARTea!! ☕️🫖💓

They had so much fun learning how to make a sunflower 🌻 candy on a brownie, make a pumpkin out of toilet paper, the importance of Journalling daily and how much they are fearfully & wonderfully made in the image of a creative, wonderful God!!

Labor Day weekend we had our 1st girls pARTea out on my back garden patio as a test run to see how it would go outside instead of inside.

This back yard has come a long ways but still a very long ways to go for the vision that’s in my head!! (Think secret garden with lots of flowers & plants that grow food 😊)

but we have to start somewhere, even among the weeds, Right? 😅

I’m thankful for the wonderful parents who are catching the vision for this “3G Club” and ecstatic that the girls are loving it too!

I’m gearing up to teach monthly seasonal pARTeas with a Purpose to deepen girl’s hearts in faith, joy, love and all the fruits of the Spirit, all while letting them create & have tea parties

(well it might be apple cider in November and hot cocoa in December & lemonade in spring)

Did anyone else get the ALMIGHTY PUSH to follow your visions since the turn of the decade?

Today I’m just pausing to celebrate that I have learned how to create pretty fliers & even attach them with a link! 😅

TILL 3 yrs ago when I was in tears over the computer & Robert trying to walk me through it on the phone while he’s at work…
